HYPERION Film needs your help

We need your help ….

Hyperion is a film about Ren, a woman with cystic fibrosis who decides to take her life into her own hands. She escapes the hospital and goes on an epic road trip to the Redwoods with her boyfriend Carl and best friend Phil, determined to fulfill her lifelong dream to see the majestic trees.

Hyperion recently launched a fundraising campaign on Kickstarter. The film is directed by Boman Modine (son of actor Matthew Modine) and inspired by the true story of Eva Markvoort, a cystic fibrosis patient who kept a video journal of her life.

The film stars Wesam Keesh (MTV’s Awkward) and Eddie Hassell (The Kids Are Alright).

With just under two weeks left on the campaign, we need your help to spread the word and reach our goal.

We are working with several cystic fibrosis foundations to make this movie one of the first of its kind: an accurate portrayal of a patient with cystic fibrosis that’s also an uplifting film.  Kristina de Bree, a CF patient and advocate, has agreed to come on as our consulting producer to make sure we get it right.

Please take the time to watch the video, “Like” it on Kickstarter, share with friends and if you can, donate.  We’ve got great rewards including priceless art from Thomas Schaller, a Warner Brothers studio tour and an incredible soundtrack from the band Me and Mr. Cassidy.

Help us make Hyperion a reality and portray a human story about cystic fibrosis.

Thanks so much!
