Joe and Erik are reunited on this episode, recording together old school at the Northwest Film Center’s recording studio. On the show we look at four films united by a sense of the cinematic: these titles are alike in that they support the Roger Ebert maxim that “it’s not what a movie is about, it’s how it is about it.” They are: The Duke of Burgundy, Alleluia, A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night, all new releases available now or very soon in theaters and VOD. The fourth is Hype Williams‘ as yet only feature Belly, from 1998, which makes up our second edition of HOLD UP.

We try to release new episodes of Adjust Your Tracking twice a month, though frequency of new episodes often increase or decrease based on interest level of what’s going on in cinema.
